Saving...
May, Thursday, 15, 1862. This is a very fine day such a gentle breeze, but we are not selling many goods. Unkle George is so bad with his back that He cannot come to the store. He is confined to bed most all the time. The mail has just come in but I have not heard the news. no news of any importence. I have been here all day by myself. I wish I could get a chance to go out a fishing or take a pleasure ride, I must call on Cynthia tonight and see how she gets along with the measels. Jonathan I suppose will not call on Her but I will have to go up and see her for [cute?].
