Saving...
May, Monday, 19, 1862. It is still cloudy and cold this morning and rains a little. It will keep the grain from growing I think. I is so cold this morning that I had to make a fire in the store, but I think it will soon get warmer. I presume this will be another week of Dull times as the Farmers are all busy yet getting in their grain. The mail brought no aditional news with regard to the war so far as I have heard yet. No letters for me. I think my Relatives have all forgotten me. I am so anxious to hear from my sister. The day has grown considerable more warm this afternoon. no trade to day.
