Saving...
May, Wednesday, 21, 1862. This morning it is raining and very disagreeable indeed I expect there will be nothing done in the goods trade to day, but I have come up to the store and I will sell what I can. It is so cold I have to keep a fire in the store all the time It is noon and the mail just came in It brings no news of Importence Unkle George is so bad with his back that He cannot go about at all It has ceased raining and has grown considerable warmer than it was this morning but is very muddy I wish it was night for I intend to make a few calls this evening Iff it is muddy
