July, MONDAY, 7, 1862. This is another very warm morning and bids fair to equal yesterday Iff not excell Oh what shall I do I wish I was out in the country I do. We had not mutch trade to day the mail brought the sad news to day that Richmond was still in the hand of the Rebels. I recd a letter from my Father to day and sister Lydia is not mutch better yet. She has been sick so long. I fear she will never get well between the war and Diseas the people are dying off very fast. We are having a very hard storm Just now.
