Saving...
July, MONDAY, 14, 1862. It has the appearence of rain this morning and I feel as though I did not care a Dam what became of me. but I have a letter to write to Mr Cleaves this morning and I must be at it, the day is wearing away slowly and nothing of Interest going on for us to look at We had no war news to day of Importence but I believe McClellan will figure it all out right after awhile Iff He is let alone but this Abolition Congress is not worth a Shit. It makes me mad when ever I read of their doings. In my opinion the sole purpose of that Congress is to prolong this war.
