Saving...
July, TUESDAY, 22, 1862. This morning is very pleasant and I feel pretty well, but it rained last night and the air is very balmy and nice. Captain Crabb who has been a Pisoner for 9 nine months in the confederate army was released and retud yesterday. news by mail to day of another fight at Vicksburgh the Rebels rather beat us a little We are selling no goods to day It is a most awful dull times here recruiting goes on very well here considering the times. I must go out calling to night Iff it does not rain for I am getting tierd staying at home.
