August, THURSDAY, 7, 1862. It is clear this morning and bids fair to be as warm as yesterday I went with the Boys to the Show Last night they are doing a very good business with their little show I will go again to night. I have been Lying round all day it is so warm that I could hardly endure it Last evening Catharine Simons and I went down to George Morrows He was on a Tight, we had a big time of it Gorge is a Regular sessoinist; & he is getting very Rich I was at the show again Last night. they showed at Portland a regular secession hall
