I have recievd 2 letters from you since you got to Savannah and hope to here from you again this wek Mr Beacham recievd a letter from you last week he said that you was well it seems that my anxiety for you is more than ever may God in his infinite wisdom guard and protect and you be permited to return home to your friends O how mutch longer will this cruel war last you said that you would send me some papers but I have not got any yet write often I must close soon for my head aches and I am not feeling vary well I have a vary hard cold frank is not vary well he has the rheumatism some but not so but that he is about the house how I long to see you I wish that I could have your picture and then I could see how you look now but, I expect that you are not where you can have it taken if you I should be vary glad of it well good bye for this time hopeing these few lines will find you well and hope to here from you soon Diantha M Darling
