you wrote that you wanted that I should send you some shirts and socks they will cost some money I think I cannot get good flannel mutch less than 2 Dollars a yard it was that price last winter I think it will be rather cheaper now I shall have to get the money of some one I think I can get it of Simon at any rate I can get it of some one I have got the socks all reddy knit and have knit them for you when you come home I think I will send them on Satturday next if I can get to [rutlege?] my hand is lame and I [?] cant write mutch this time but I shall send a letter when I do the socks and will send the shirts as soon as posible I think I shall have to go to Ellington or Randolph to get the cloth and will do it as soon as posible Samuel Town died yesterday and the funerel is attended to day we are all well with the exception of hard colds
