Saving...
This is the most gloomy day I have seen in Va, yesterday noon I come off of picket and before we got to Camp it commenced snowing and snowed until most night, then stoped for a while & snowed in the night, this morning when I crawled out I found the snow about three inches deep, the second snow we have seen in Va. and before only enough to whiten the ground nicely, the warm sun begins to pour fourth its radient heat and the snow must soon disappear, then it will be muddy. I have not been sick any since we left Camp Seward when I had the mumps, there has quite (please excuse mistakes) a number of this Reg't been sick and gone to the hospital I will try and mention the most
