I don't,, feel very sharp to night for I was on guard yesterday. Russell Barlow has just arrived here from the Hospital not over five minets since, he is tough and in good spirits, please tell Mrs. Barlows people. I don't know of any news to tonight that will interest you. I have just rec'd. a letter from Will Casten in Philadelphia he is well and thinks he shall try to get back to the Reg't. soon. I have not Rec'd,, any letter from home since two weeks ago tomorrow. I have written several times since so you could hear from me, I wrote to Lucy Dudley a short time ago, I am looking for a letter now every night the mail has come in for tonight so I did not get any
