I am out of stamps but if Stiles goes home I will send by him and get a supply on hand so I shall not have to bother, please write if you have heard any thing from the dollar I sent in the letter. I wish if my hat is there you would send it by Ellsworth if not get me a black hat and send it, I believe that is all I want, my old vest sticks by yet and is worth a farer sheep, the prospects are now that we shall remain here a short time yet for they have granted furloughs again. Now please write often and all the news. Delos is on picket today and Monroe and I are here to keep house alone Father please write.
