I have about two hands full of those dried Cherries yet and Brad had some berries that George brought him and we take some of the berries and put In a few Cherries and stew them togather and it makes very good sauce, so you see take it all around we live very well and have bully good care from our John, when we buy Oranges or lemons we have to pay 25 cents for three. I got out this morning and had to buy some for I like them and the Dr says they are good for me so I bought three Oranges for 25 cents, you spoke of the battle field any one dont know what it is till they have been there, you can think some thing of it but then you dont know any thing about it, to see the confusltion and and see men fall all around you and against you and then the noise and continual roar of Cannon (Vertically, from bottom right:-) and musketry.
