the large building in the Center is the medical store and Doctors Ofice, the place where we go out and in is by the rail road and right where we go in is a room running to the large building in the Center, this is the cook room where all is cooked and taken from there to each ward by hand cars pushed, running around in this hall and stoping at each ward door, our Ward is 27 I will mark it on the picture so you can see where we live. Afternoon I do not feel in much of a writing mood today and have no paticular news to write, Monroe and was on a pass the other day and got some currents and berries stewed in a little tin pail we bought they were good and I guess we shall get some more stewed. I am very contented here for this is so nice a Hospital though a great many find fault and call it a States prison but no Hospital as large as this can be controlled without some order and dicipline a great many think it very hard because they cant go out and get tight every day I am very glad I have no disposition for liquor. I think if I had I should try to controll it. Please write if you hear from Deloss and when. I suppose you have heard of
