Monday July 27th.. 1863 I was so busy yesterday, reading that I did not write any, but will try and write what I have to let you know and I will assure you that is not much for news are very dull here now. I have not been to breakfast this morning, but it will be ready soon. I have not heard any thing more from our Reg't.. since I wrote you last, I expect William Casten here today, and they say that there is six hundred sick and wounded coming here today. Afternoon and there has no sick or wounded arrived yet but they will probaly come some time today If they do I presume there will be some from the 64th.. or our Regiment as soon as they come I shall look in the wards and see if there is any one that I know. I do not hear any thing from Deloss, as soon as you do please let me know. I understand by your letter that Marshall thought Deloss was marched to Richmond. most night now, William Casten and Ned Worden have just gone from here I have had a good visit with them. I guess you will think I am rather unsteady about writing, this is the fourth time I have commenced this imperfect letter (In bottom right corner:-) fever
