Tents and wood firnished to cook with I dont know how long we shall stay here but hope all the fall think we shall stay here till all the Conscripts get through to their Reg'ts, and perhaps longer it is not very certain how long. I wrote a letter to Libble the other day, I have not heard from her in some time. I wrote to her a short time before I left the Hospital. Mother did you get my picture in your letter from me that I wrote before I left the Hospital I meant to put it in but dont know as I did for I wrote to John and calculated to send him one, but I did not send only one to both of you and I dont know which letter I put it in for I have not heard from John yet, please write in your next if you got it or not if you did not I will send it right off to you. I sent one to Libbie but dont know as she has got it for I have not heard from her,, Edgar & Bill Casten are here with the Reg't.. now they come since we got here. We are Camped in a very pleasant place on the bank of the River where we can see all the boats that pass and repass from Alexandria to Washington, we go down
