Camp 154th,, N.Y.V Near Chattanooga Tenn= Monday Nov,, 2d../63 Dear Friends; Today finds me well and in good spirits I am very thankful to say, and wish you the same. I am getting about discouraged trying to get any mail I have not had a letter of any discription since I left Alex Va,, and now it has been over a month. We are now near Chattanooga. We started from Bridgeport Ala,, a week tomorrow morning, marched the first day about 15 miles our Brigade having the advance made it a great deal harder for us for they expected to meet
