The Army will move from here soon I think, and then we can tell who will remain here. We have been short of rations since we came here till within three or four days I think we shall get plenty to eat now. Apples are coming in but they are very dear $2,00 per dozen I do not buy many, if the Army moves from here we shall get things more plenty. I have not written you I think since we came into the City. I wrote you before the City was taken; we do not get mail very often there has not been any in five or six days. I hope the mail arrangements will work better in a few days. Well only most nine
