camp ground today and there was a verry popular preacher preached this afternoon. Some went to hear him Some wrote letters Some played card Some pitched horse shoes Some loafed and Some Slept during the time he was preaching. I must quit as our camp mail is ready to start and the boys want their rations divided out to them so I must stop. Write at least twice each week Your Affectionate husband A. F. Davis If there is school convenient send the girls I ordered the Herald sent to you, look for it at post office
