have to await for it until I do get it I intend to try verry hard to get to see you again before we leave as I intend to go to the Colonel myself and see what I can do, but if not I will bear it as a Soldier and not complain and think it is all for the best and I want you to do the same. I sent a letter to Mother this morning and sent word for Newton to come out and see me as he goes on the Cars free and if he comes he will come to see you and go home with you if you wish to go at that time. A soldier of the 13th Regiment was killed on Sunday night last by a ruffian. Some of the boys had got out and was in town and this One and 4 others ware sent to bring them back and they found that they ware in a house of ill fame and they went there and demanded admittance but was refused by this ruffian and the attemted to go in
