You never told me what was done with the mare after Ferman went to school and whether you had sold her or not. If you should have any of your wood delivered before I come home get some one who is not interrested to See to haveing it measured or you might get Short measure and not Know it. The Orders are to prepare to march and the company are getting ready to Start So I must Stop for this time Hereafter Direct to Lieut. A. F. Davis Com J, 15 Reg. Ind. Vol. you need not put on it in care of any One only as I above direct Good by dear wife and children I have not even time to fill this sheet out your affectionate Husband A. F. Davis
