sent to the Hospital. I presented the bill to the Quarter Master but he said he had no orders to pay such accounts but he said if he had any orders he would gladly pay it I send the Express receipt which you can see calls for $7,50 and I paid $1,00 to get them hauled to camp making $8,50. the boys here paid me $4,25 which leaves $4,50 still due you can do what you think best with it. I also send you my journal up to this time which has kept me writing for several days to it brought up. Tell Sis I will write her a letter soon. Tell Henry Husted not to pay us a visit at present Tell mother that letters have come here complimenting her verry highly in regard to her Presidential honors. There was 2 large Boxes of goods come to our company 2 or 3 days since from the Wabash so that evry one in our company has plenty of clothing and bedding at present. and if we have to march soon many a good blanket quilt or Coverlid will have to be thrown away. I must close for the present but will write again soon. I will write several letters to different ones soon as I have plenty of time now as I have no drilling to do Your affectionate husband A. F.
