The within explains itself I answered it in a way that I think will set the old fool up a little and perhapse set him down on me but I dont care. He must be either Crazy a fool or a Scoundrel and must think the whole company and brigade must pay particular attention to Luther because he is his son. Luther is a good soldier but I do not see but that there is many a one just as good that is holding no higher station than he is You can show this to who you please. My opinion is he is entirely too hasty and knows not what he is writing about. I offered the 2 woolen cumforts I brought to any one who needed them but no one appeared to want them, I understood that the things that ware sent to the Hospital ware intended for that purpose and nothing els. and I know that they ware used for that purpose for I saw them in use myself more than once I care not what others write about them
