Saving...
I received a letter from Cyrena a few days since but it was old haveing been written July 25. I also received one from Abe Thurston, but to read it you would not think it had been written by a preacher I have a notion to write a ltter and have published in the Herald Some day soon as I see no one writes to it now from the 15 and I hope the boys have friends who would be glad to hear from them occasionly if it was only through the papers. By the way I had quite a long talk with Bill Mitchell of Lauramie this forenoon. He is the same old Bill. I also saw Mr Bush, Sams intended brother in law I wonder if the draft wont catch Sam and delay his bushwhacking for 9 months I believe that when all the new levy of troops are thrown into the field that it will make short work of the War, for the new troops can relieve those now holding the points already taken and let them concentrate more and in that way entirely over run and over power
