which ware sent here for me to Sign and return before Fred will give up the Deed I did not get to Acknowledge them that day as the Clerk was not at his office and I Still have them, and will go to the City on tuesday and fix them up. I should go Sooner but am detailed for duty tomorrow. Hen paid him the $300.00 and he (Fred) deposited the Deed with J. L. Burgess, which is to be delivered as soon as I send back those papers He Said he would not have paid him the money without the Deed only he was fearful that Some one els would Step in and take the bargain from us and he says it is considered by evry one a good bargain for us. L. M. Beaver got word today that Mother had bought the Scarlet property. Bill Van wrote me a day or two since that She had been offered $300.00 cash down for her property and that she thought of taking it and buying in Liberty and he and Nancy advised her to do so, and I presume she has and I think myself it is as good a thing as She can do for her own cumfort.
