I should like to have been concealed somewhere and saw and heard the battle of words between your neighbor and yourself, but I suppose there was not much blood spilled on either side as wind and words hardly ever break the skin. And now I guess you have got a pretty good breastwork formed betwen your friendship and hers and my advise is for you to not tear down the breastwork nor let her scale them, as I think her friendship is not needed, I wrote H. Husted a letter yesterday in regard to Politicks and will say nothing further on the subject only for you to tell him that I have come to the conclusion to write several letters to different ones in the County and not wait for the announcement in the paper of my name but take it for granted that the announcement will be made. and in my next I will send a list of the names of those to whom I have written,
