all the fixtures - said establishment being confiscated for my use when the Brigade are ordered to march - which is the case now - as we were at the dinner table the order came to be ready to march in an hours notice, to reinforce Sherman - who is having a severe battle near Jackson - with Johnson I have been riding ever since I came to Will this time - we were going yesterday but it rained and then we concluded to go to day but cannot on account of the order to leave. I am going to stay with Will now - for when ever they go I can go to - since they got the buggy - it is amusing how the soldiers do manage to get so many things - for the Drs orderly can just find what ever his is in need of. He brought in quite a nice castor the other day - the bottles had all been broken but he but he says never mind he will have it filled before long - and sure enough he has a nice cut glass pepper bottle already and salt cup and no doubt will have it intact in a few days - He brought me
