thing and would very likely never talk any - as part of its palate was gone. Hez and Lizzie were away some where but she did not say where and Aunt was taking care of Effie. They had the other two with them. They were all very much frightened at Morgan being so near them and of course breathed somewhat freer when he was captured. Did thee ever send me a letter directed to Memphis and not pay the postage on it, some one did and I had a letter from the P.M. to send him 10 cts and he would send me on the letter but I sent the money and never got a letter in return - at least not yet - I expect it is some of Louis' letters that are misdirected - but it cost me 13 cents whoever wrote it. I
