862120 Jan the 20th 1862 Camp Sedalia Pettis Co mo Dear Cosin it is with pleasure that I Seat down to writ you a few lines to inform you of my wellfare I am Enjoying good health and hop that when this Comes to hand It wil find you all well I wrot a letter about 6 weeks ago and have not heard anything from you since I guess that you must forgot me since Jimmy went home I have not had any word since he went home But I wil send you an other letter and see if you wont answr it I Received about a dozen of lines apiece from Bobe whit and Jimny night Before last I think that Bobe has got verry high on his hors I have wrot to him different times sinse I Enlisted and he never was the man to writ me a line til the othr day he sent a little in Jimmys letter if he dont think Enough of me to writ he Can do the othr thing I give you my word for it it wil do him and moly good if I Ever go in thare house if I live to get hom again
