officers dont know themselfs this expedition has been an entire failure. There is a great may reports going some think that we are going up the White river and some day to helena we are 100 miles below helena but as i said we dont know were we are going no what we are going to do i have not time to give you any of the particules of this trip now as the Mail Boat is just going to leave But as soon as i get an opportunity to write again i will do so i am not on the same Boat with John as i have to look after the oven we heard that there was an armistes of 30 days granted but we have had no papers for 3 weeks and consequently dont know I must close give my love to all Isaac is well Ro Moyle
