pretty well cleaned out our army are driving them in every direction and they are beginning to [missing] up their cause as loss [missing] if the Lord spare [missing] will all go home [missing] summer our proof [illegible] present are very favorable [illegible] I got my pay and I enclose 15 dollars. [missing} how are you in the [missing]work are you striving [missing] improve I hope your are doing your duty try as [illegible] as possible to live unto him and dont neglect it.
