to hear of Aunt Janes misfortune and hope the preperators of the deed may be found out and punished. You are having plenty of snow in iowa this winter and I hope you are enjoying it we have had tolerable pleasant weather here until latley yesterday it rained all day and last night it snowed and frozed pretty hard and is tolerable cold this morning but I dont think it will last long. I sent twenty dollars to you by Mr Kemple I suppose you have got it by this time I wrote a tolerable leanthy Latter to William from Bridgeport hope he will write soon. We had
