Hercules, Indians, Jackson Washington [u.s.A?], the greatest Building on this continent and not yet finished. Afternoon 14. in the Patent Office Dept as grand a building covering a [large?] square with all the Patern of every discription such would take a man a have a year to see every thing and such is the Post office Dept only longer with 13 hands destroying the dead letters, The treasury Dptmt. is a building of about the same size all solid with stone & pretty with marble, and the White House is a fine home for Abraham with fine Yards all around.
