Stopped at Cinc. till 7 oclock 18th got to Vincence Ind. on Wabash River a brige burned walked accross got on cars at 11 PM, got to Odin Ill. early in morning 19th started on a special train from Odin on Id. Central at 8 AM, very fine weather - spring coming with its beutiful green. Wheat looks pretty good trough O, Ind. Got to Cairo at 3 PM on Sunday & got on board the Continental at dark left at 9 PM. Past Memphis at 1 PM on 21st rainy & rough, at 11 PM got so rough that it was very dangerous, the waves splashed all over the boat Lucky to find a place
