Got into Chattanooga on morning of 11 Started back at 2 PM. on the morning of 12th, very heavy rain - bridges washed away we was compelled to walk 15 miles to Nashville windy heavy rain. 13 in The State house of Tennesee. Left on the afternoon train. Guerrillas on the road between Bowling Green & Cave City our Guns ready. arrived at Louisville in morn of 14th in morning of 15th at Cincinnati. (Our President Abraham was shot on the eve of 14th) got to Columbus on 15th at 10 PM. Sent a box containing 5 blankets 1 overcoat & 3 shirts by Adams Express on 16th. Sunday.
