FRIDAY, JANUARY 1, 1864. The Coldest day I have as yet experienced in the Sunny south. Suffer as much here with cold as in Ohio - occasioned by the change of Temperature alone -Visited in Co with Surgeon Haws 10th O.V.C. Surgeon D. Wall of the 110th Ill.V.I. Camped at Rossville Georgia SATURDAY 2 Cold. Horses on about 1/6 Rations- Capts Stallion "Job" died from hard usage previously undergone to Reaching Rankins Plantation Sequatchee Valley and Starvation SUNDAY 3 (No Entry)
