TUESDAY, JANUARY 19, 1864. Took Private-Boarding at Widow Pamer's at $1.50 per day-Spent the day in refreshing my mind in infantry drill. WEDNESDAY 20 Reported to the office of the military and asked to have our hearing in the 22nd which was granted returned to my room and commenced anew my preparation for examination. THURSDAY 21 Close in Room - Embracing every moment and using the same in preparation for examination
