TUESDAY, MARCH 1, 1864. Raining and Cold and disagreeable - Staid about the City until almost Noon trying to have my Receipts for Ordnance Turned over By Col. Smith through me Receipted for made the trip to La Vergne Tenn about 4 O'Clock P.M. without serious suffering WEDNESDAY 2 Engaged Making Muster and Pay Rolls - And in having Clothing Receipt Rolls signed up - not in a very good mood hence will retire. Received Clothing for Co in part Rec. one letter from Perry at in in West Zanesville My Birthday. THURSDAY 3 Employed Making Pay Rolls and an amount of work it is being so many changes and new Recruits.
