I have not time to write but a little more. The paymaster has just arrived and we will get our Rations of greenbacks. give my best wishes to enquiring Friends, but dont forget your self at the same time. Write if you see fit as I will be glad to hear from you. Was you not lonesome until your school was out? I have nothing more of importance to write at present. But remain a friend. Alex excuse this hasty written Letter mistakes and bad spelling encluded
