We have bin making big preperations for a grand expedition some where,, I am unable to tell where As I had a little more of a lode than I felt disposed to cary I have after a good eal of unnecessary troble,, pact up a box of my effects, and Expressed them through to Marengo,, bearing the address of Jas,, Talbott,, Tell J I hope he will take no offence,, at my using his name and adress,, and that I Shall make all amends for trobel he may have bin too,, there Is nothing very valuable in the boxe but still there Is Some little trinkets that I have a desire
