Marengo Dec 25th 63 My Dear Son we have just recieved your letter of the 21 and was verry glad to hear from you and hope this will find you in better health it found us quite well just now Adie has had a turn of neuraligy she suffered severely for a night and day but is better now and is verry buisey now entertaining Eugene Lee and Simion and Mary Lumbard and Elen they are having a great time if you could only be here to visit with them they are going to Marengo to night to a protracted meeting Ab and all his family have gone to mcauleys to eat rost turkey they caculate to move in
