June. 22. 3d Div march from Huntsville for Chattanooga to day we (17th Iowa) leave at 6 oclock A.M. the weather dull - indicating rain - camp for the night near Brownsboro 23. Leave camp near Brownsboro at 6 oclock A M march to Paint Rock & go into camp at 2 oclock P.M, - Whole of the 3d Div is on this march enroute for Chattanooga 24. Leave camp near Paint Rock at 7 oclock and march to Larkinsville & camp weather very warm
