1865 Continuied 25th guards belonging to the eighty third companies was relieved and also the Lieutenant by a relief from our company 26th was relieved of guard at Provost Marshals office in the Morning by a detail from our company went to where the company was camped on stran st,, eighty third started for home 27th Was detailed to take charge of the Military at Galveston Tex 28th " " " " 29th " " " " 30th Sunday " " 31st " " " " August. 8th Month 1865 1st Was mustered in order to get the original name 48th C.V.V.O. the 48th consists of six companies four of them 48th companies & two of the 114th Ohio companies
