1865 Continued 8th arrived at Houston 7 oclock A.M. turned over my squad of men and reported to regiment 9th layed in camp all day 10th " " " " 11th " " " " 12th " " " " 13th Sunday was on guard at the guard House 14th was relieved of guard at 7 oclock A.M. received orders to Move our camp out in the country 15th Moved out at 7 oclock A.M. to our camp about 1 1/2 miles from town evening was detailed to come to town on a perminent detail to guard the Freedmens Camp 16th remained on guard at Freedmens Camp 17th was reenforced by more guards 18th remained on duty at Freedmens Camp order to arrest all colored men without passes
