Aug 19th our brig left our knapsacks at the wagons & marched to the right about 3 miles lay there untill nearly night & came back a portion of the 14th Corps held our works while we were gone when we got back we found it had been raining here 20th did the same as yesterday our Skirmishers found a few rebs while we were gone on the 19th the rebs shelled our works. one percussion shell
