Oct skirmishing with the rebs arrived in camp about 9 P.M. after they had been in about an hour there came up a very heavy thunder shower 3rd orders to be ready to march at 1 P.M. at about 12 PM. the bugles sounded the general we struck tents & waited untill about 2 P.M. when we had orders to pitch tents again our trains move but the troops lay in camp all nigtht during the night it rained very hard
