corn. 18 miles from Timiscal to Lagoon. Lagoon is a lake some 2 or three miles long by 1/2 mile Country not so good around the lake as in the valley we came through this morng. Advance guard killed 11 hare & rabbits. Capt. Morris killed 1 or 2 hare & doz or so of quails Arived Lagoon and Camped at noon. Pot Pie for supper.
