York Tribune - July - "Facts & rumors in Washington" "Veteran infantry & regular artillerists, passing through the Town at the edge of the Sabbath evening & at dawn of Monday gave deeper assurance to the sleep of the timid who get torn to pieces by the periodical invasion excitements of this war" We lost 3 of our crew at Halifax such high prices are given for seamen to run new ships built at St. Johns & other places.
