but am fearful the 2d.. will seam very long. time is beginning to pass slowly and was it not for my desire to see Rebellion Crushed and believing it to be my duty to do all that I can, I would be very Homesick. hope I will get home before another year passes. I Recd.. a letter from John Last week he is well and was Clerking in the Commissary Department at Winchester Va. The weather is very pleasant I am writing to day in my Shirt Sleaves.
