H'd Qrs 7" Iowa Vet Inft Savannah Ga Jany 8" 1865 My dear Wife This is sunday evening and a rather gloomy one it is the wind is blowing hard and we have evry prospect now for bad weather, the Last month has been very pleasant for this season of the year it has appeared to me more like September than December & Jany. we are now expecting cold and rainy weather for the next month, and I dread it, for we have tonight Received our order of march for Another Campaign the particulars of which are not made public yet, but I being in the office Know all about the moovemnts of this Division, the 1st..
